TASTING NOTES

Fruit driven with a lovely wild berry and violet nose which is carried through to the palate. The flavours are soft and elegant with pure fruit character and a herbaceous slightly mineral mid palate. Friendly and approachable.

WINEMAKING NOTES

The grapes are handpicked at 300 m a.s.l. from a 30 year old, southeast facing vineyard in Ancarano and Controguerra in Northern Abruzzo. The wine is made exclusively in stainless steel tanks thermoconditioned and after the malolactic fermentation it ages in bottle for
at least 6 months. No oak is used throughout the process.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Torri Cantine was founded in 1966 in the Teramo hills of Abruzzo, an amalgamation of some very special vineyard sites and a modern, state of the art, wine making facility. Since 1966 Torri Cantine have gone further to employ sustainable Organic Viticultural techniques in the vineyards and their wines are now certified as "BIO". The wines are
made with uncompromising care, respect for nature, and the pursuit of excellence and the highest quality.
