TASTING NOTES

Fruity nose with a lovely range of fruit flavours from white peach and apricot through to bright aromas of ripe apple, pineapple and a hint of grapefruit. In the mouth it is equally complex, with some wild herb notes, but finishing with bright freshness and a hint of minerality.

WINEMAKING NOTES

The grapes are handpicked at 300 m a.s.l. from a 25 year old, southeast facing vineyard in Ancarano and Controguerra in Northern Abruzzo. The wine is made exclusively in stainless steel tanks thermoconditioned and the grapes are left in contact with the skins at low temperature.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Torri Cantine was founded in 1966 in the Teramo hills of Abruzzo, an amalgamation of some very special vineyard sites and a modern, state of the art, wine making facility. Since 1966 Torri Cantine have gone further to employ sustainable Organic Viticultural techniques in the vineyards and their wines are now certified as "BIO". The wines are made with uncompromising care, respect for nature, and the pursuit of excellence and the highest quality.
